Captain Metzger was invited to read a story to Mrs. Simmons’ kindergarten class at Hillview Elementary School on Veteran’s Day. In addition to being an officer at the Newark Fire Department, Captain Mezger is a Staff Sargeant and Combat Medic in the Army. He read Hero Dad to the students today.
