$243,000 Licking County MARCS Grant

The Ohio State Fire Marshal awarded 7 fire departments a total of $243,000 for communications equipment.  The intention was to make Licking County entirely MARCS capable.  Although Newark Fire Department did not directly benefit from the grant, we indirectly gain the ability to communicate with one radio system.  Congratulations to all that applied and were awarded funds!
