Howe to Lt. and Black to Capt. Promotions

Josh Black, age 38, is an 11 year veteran of the Newark Fire Department and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2015. Josh is a 1998 graduate of the Licking County Christian Academy and earned an Associate’s Degree from Upper Iowa University. Josh resides in Granville with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Brynlee and Piper.

Brian Howe, age 40, is a 17 year veteran of the Newark Fire Department and was hired in 2001 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Brian graduated from Newark High School in 1996, served in the United States Air Force, and earned an Associate’s Degree from Central Ohio Technical College. Brian resides in Glenford with his daughters, Allie and Kira.
